JUCO QB Chris Todd out of Kentucky signed with us last week. Remember that name, Red Raider fans? That's right, he's the one who nearly beat out Harrell for a starting spot in Lubbock as a true freshman a few years back. I didn't even realize he had transferred.
Supposedly has a huge arm. I guess we'll see. Kodi Burns is still the heir apparent, but the competition is heating up. We now have Burns, former Elite 11 QB Neil Caudle, run/throw threats Barrett Trotter and Deron Furr, and Todd in the fold. Todd will be the only upperclassman next year. Burns, who's already second on the depth chart, is a true freshman this year, Caudle is a redshirt freshman, and and Trotter and Furr are HS seniors.
