O.K. everyone has basically narrowed down the regions now who is the best quarterback in the state?

Daugherty of Bridgeport.Awesome stats from last year.

Daugherty, hands down. Beats every other returning QB by almost 3,000 yards and had next to no supporting cast.

Bridgeport's Daugherty. The guy is one of those "once in a while" guys.

I don't see Daugherty being the best. I still say that they limped into the playoffs at 5-5. If they would have gone one or two games in the playoffs we wouldn't even be considering him.
I think he is a top 5 QB, but not the best.

They limped into the playoffs because Daugherty was carrying them. Look at his numbers. He passed for over 4,600 yards! The closest to him is the kid from Jasper, and he's almost 3,000 yards behind Daugherty.

Yea, that's the kind of numbers the Detmer brothers posted at Mission a few years back. Both played D1 and went pro.

Daugherty is far and away the best in the state, to take a team to the semi-finals with a very average supporting cast says everything that needs to be said.

Umm...Im tired of reading that Bridgeport had as an average team with a outstanding qb....It doesnt work that way...any team does not make to the semis with just average team...No...and i do not think the Daughtery is the best qb...If you look at the numbers his td-int ratio isnt very good...nor at the attempts to Alaniz's im just saying...dont over look Alaniz because after all he is 34-6 since his freshman year...and took his team to the finals...

Td.-int.ratio I believe goes to Daugherty as well as completion average.BUT td per completion average goes to Alaniz!That's the way I see it.But I agree with Meat that Alaniz will put up bigger numbers next year.And not because Sinton will lack a runnin game.That they will have!!
