Ive seen the same posters who bashed Petrino and Rodriguez for leaving earlier praising kids for changing their commitment to another school and coming to their favorite school. Whats the difference both are breaking their word and breaking their committments?

difference to me is contracts.

a committment is just verbal till the LOI is signed.

a coach signs a contract from the beginning or is already in a contract
