Before the year is over SHS turned 40 in 2007, To this day it's still known as the new high school after it opened it doors in 1967 the Class Of '68 were the first class to graduate from the current school. So the walls and halls of SHS has alot of stories to tell:) the ups and downs of Sinton High still lingers on. Pirate Stadium turned 27 also this year. After legendary coach J. Murry Stephenson left SHS in 1966. Sam Harper became the new head coach for the Pirates in 1967 ended the season with a 4-5 record and Sinton was in district 14-3A

The district should've done that instead of installing the fence and that security booth. That fence makes SHS look like a prison
