Last year senior linebacker #12 Shane Sheffield's dad died in a motorcycle accident yesterday. I don't have any particulars. I just know he was a good man. He was a bodybuilder and a huge man muscle wise. He was my friend.. Shawn Sheffield. Please pray for this family. He was a man that loved his family and his football. Father God, please comfort this family at this time. Shawn you will be missed my friend. :(

That is terrible news, prayers going out from me.

My stepdad was killed in a wreck 24 years ago today also!! Sure does make this time of year hard!!:(

Lost my Mom on the 13th of December 11 years ago. You never forget.

But the memories are easier to recall each and every year.

May the northern lights smile for their family, and shawn loosing a father and a friend is tough. I know I lost mine and it truly hurt.

Prayers from my family. It gets a little easier with time but you never forget and you always feel like they were just here yesterday. I lost my best friend Nov. 12, 2003. Our senior year. I still feel like it was just yesterday sometimes.
