My office is right next to Dyess AFB. The B1 bombers literally shake my office and are so load I cant even talk on the phone when there taking off. Six of them have taken off within the last few minutes. And there not just turning around and coming back like usual. And there is usually only 1 or 2 up at a time. These are all banking hard and hauling butt west as soon as they get up.

 I wonder if something is up???????

Think I'll head home and watch the news now.

I'm also hearing some C130s taxying around over there. Sure hope this is just an exercise!

Was wondering the same thing. I am right across from Dyess Elementary and was wondering what the heck is going on. Probably just drills.

Just as I was leaving last night another B1 was taking off, and I could see another one moving around over there. Seems like I heard they have something like 26 of them. Havent noticed any taking off today, but the C130s are moving around some. Think I heard a KC135 refueler take off a little while ago. Havent heard anything on the news though, so I guess their just doing some sort of exercises.
Too bad about California though. :( Although I do have a niece out there I'd like to get out first. But then again, sometimes sacrifices must be made. :D

Oops, I spoke too soon. Two just took off heading north. Hey maybe we're finally going to get rid of Canada once and for all. After all, it's not like their going to fight back or anything. Might as well take em over.:D

I drove by the backside of Dyess last night about 9:00 while driving through Tye and this same thing was going on. At night it's really freaky because those things look like UFO's at night. I though to my self "This is it, right here, right now". I did notice an unusual number of B1's and C 130's park on the runway also.

Hmm since going west would probably headed to Guam that has a long enough Air strip sort of the jump off place for Indonesia, and Asia

If that is the case at all..

Everyone remain calm. President Bush is flying to Dyess Sunday on AF1 and then is escorted to Crawford via chopper.
Just a few prelim drills/activity that's all.

I wish you would be a little more accurate with your information. I already boarded my house, put a mounted gun on my El Camino, and told my mother-in-law in California what I really thought about her.

She'll be here tomorrow for the holidays. Damn you.

All seems quiet over at Dyess tonight. In fact maybe just a little toooooo quiet. yep, too quiet for sure. Must be something really big about to happen. You know,,,,,,the calm before the storm.;) Better hug them babies up tight tonight folks.

I hear "W" has been seen strapping on his spurs.

Just a few prelim drills/activity that's all. It would make a heck of a lot more sense to just fly him to Kileen to the Army base that is roughly 30 miles from W's Crawford home. He can probably hear the cannon fodder from the firing range on his front porch if the wind is blowing just right.
