Region IV Playoff Predictions

Since most districts get underway next week, I thought it was time to discuss possible playoff teams from region 4. With 4-5 games under their belt, here are my predictions:

District 25
Div. I - Burnet
Div. II - Wimberley, Liberty Hill

District 26
Div. I - Somerset
Div. II - La Vernia, Marion

District 27
Div. I - Cuero
Div. II - Yoakum, Hallettsville

District 28
Div. I - Wharton
Div. II - Rice Cons., Edna

District 29
Div. I - Hondo
Div. II - Devine, Cotulla

District 30
Div. I - Sinton
Div. II - Mathis, West Oso

District 31
Div. I - Falfurrias
Div. II - Bishop, Orange Grove

District 32
Div. I - La Feria
Div. II - Raymondville, Port Isabel

man you have done your homework. never know whats going to happen but thats preety good based on what they have done so far. that dist. where marion is picked third must be pretty week.

Forgot to say, the teams are not picked in any order of finish in each district, just playoff qualifiers and Divisions based on enrollments on the UIL website.

District 27's gunna be a slugfest... Gonzales (if they get their QB back), Luling and H'Ville should be battling for the third spot and Goliad can get a couple of spoiler W's...

Heck, Yoakum and Cuero both may not make it, but I think they will...
