That Liberty Hill is currently the only 3A state champion? They are (until this weekend) still the defending DII champion and are now the DI champion. Has this ever happened before?

Closest there has been is Tatum won DIV II 3a then came back with a win in DIV I 2A

It has happened in 5A though South Lake last year and the year previous
