It's on a timer and everytime I mess with it, I screw it up and then it don't come on at all the next morning!

It kicks on at 6:45, I just happened to wake up earlier than normal this morning!!

I'm starting to thaw out now!!:)

today is Monday - but its my last working day of '07 ..... after today I'm back to work Jan 2 '08

and then 1.5 days between christmas and new years (oh darn)

being in the military is nice (marines normally get a 4 day weekend for all major government holidays, other services differ somewhat) sometimes

unfortunately, most of my friends are still in the unit i just left and out in Iraq

the flipside of holidays in the military is that there's always someone you know who is missing them

:(

But enough sad stuff!

i've got almost two weeks off coming! woohoo! my kids just want to open the presents already (most of them have been sitting there since thanksgiving evening (other than the ones from Santa, of course!)

25 degrees @ the house this a.m. Dogs sure didn't want to go out - and neither did I. I know it's lots colder in other places, but 25 is cold enough for a Louisiana girl.
It IS a great Monday - I only have to work 2.5 days this week, then I'm off until January 2!

Hey, I REALLY deserve it - I work with 6th 7th, and 8th graders all day, every day!

I have to work 5 days this week but I wont have to work again until Jan 7

you are very deserving. my with has taught the same grades for 24 years. god bless you both... if it were up to me, I would give you both off until Feb. 1st. have a nice few holidays off.
