Lake Travis takes an intentional delay of game penalty and then a knee on 4th down to keep from scoring again with 5 minutes to go. Still 49-13 Cavaliers

i was at the game (well, first half, long story y i didnt see the 2nd)...anyway, Lake Travis had some ridiculous offense.....and that quarterback is deadly accurate....the first half wasclose til the end of the 2nd quarter, apparantly it just got ugly from there on....

Overall it is, but certainly good teams come out of Region IV. But year in & year out, Region IV gives you the best chance of winning. That's not me tallking, that is reality. Demographics & population say so. Look no further than Palacios this year going 3 or 4 rounds deep - name another Region where that happens?

Like I said, overall. I don't need a list of all the stellar teams to emerge out of Region IV over the past few years. I can list lots of crappy ones too. And I played in both Region 3 & Region 4 too (realignment), so I have a point of reference besides just observation.

That's a very subjective argument that's been made many times. I assure you, Regions 1,2,and 3 all have cellar dwellars that occasionally do well. Highschool football is the same everywhere in Texas.

These two schools are very different in the fact for a couple of reasons

Dayton is a different community sort of in the country with different kind of parents students etc

Lake Travis is different a bit more with wealthy parentes etc

They are close to Austin and part of people moving there since the district has a different attitude
