EF is very good and have been in the past. They have a great little program there. Rice did not really have a chance.

Rice was dominated in every stat by Refugio last week but costly mistakes killed the Bobcat's .

Congratulations to E.F

I think this is an example of the gap between Region 3 and 4 in 2A

Me and G stayed until halftime. That was enough for us. My gosh what a beatdown.

Rice did have a great season, up until tonight. Right from the get go things just started going wrong. Top receiver goes to hospital, QB blows out his knee. If it could go wrong in this game, it did. Congrats to Elysian Fields and good luck to them in the finals. I am very proud of the Raiders and the success they had this season. It was a great ride for us fans....heart stopping at times but well worth it.

Taylor Cook (Miami commit) blew out his knee? Boy that is sad to hear. ACL or what? Good luck to him & great season Rice.

Not sure how bad, but heard that it wasn't good. I'll update if I find out anything definite.

I don't think this is true. You can't take this game for what it's worth. Yes, EF played a great game...but the Raiders also played the worst game I have ever seen. I don't know if they were just overwhelmed by being there, but it definitely wasn't the team we are used to seeing.

When you get dominated like Rice did there are always going to be a lot of reasons why. Also Tatum winning over Region 4 makes the case for Region 3.

Region 4 overall is always weaker - that does not mean great teams cannot emerge from Region 4 (& they do). OVERALL, Houston & Dallas area regions will be stronger due to demographics & population bases. It has been that way forever & I played in both Region 3 & Region 4 too.

This game would have been a blowout if Rice Cons. wouldn't have gotten those injuries....Elysian Fields totally dominated both lines of scrimmage...Rice simply had no chance...everytime Rice snapped the ball EF had 3 guys blowing the Rice OL off the ball...and some of those holes their O Line opened up I could have run through
