I was watching ESPN2's top 10 games of 2007 and at the end they showed the top plays of the year. Not one clip was of Barry Bonds breaking the all time home run record, but they did have a clip Jim Thome breaking 500. How funny!

He made himself hated. He has a terrible attitude and (IMO) cheated his way into the History books.

It's hard not to hate him.

Barry's biggest problem is Barry... when he played for the Pirates he was likeable... then went to San Fran and at first was still likeable.... even did a stint or two on IN Living Color...
then he went on something and just became the biggest A hole out there...

Bonds is a great player but, nowhere near the Babe... the Babe saved baseball in the twenties and brought it back...

the only thing that disappoints me is all the injuries Jr. had because if not for that, this conversation would be pointless and mute

I agree about Griffey but I guess now we all have A-Rod who is a victim of NY media.

I am not going to say Roids but definitely something... Barry used to be a very likeable guy to all involved... Bobby Bonilla was the Pirate everyone hated

I feel bad for Pedro Gomez having to follow Bonds around. Bonds has called that guy every name in the book. Gomez is probably the only member of the media I actually feel sorry for. I'm sure he'll run out of court screaming and yelling if Bonds actually goes to prison.

ESPN loves or hates, which ever needs to happen for ratings.
