At the end of last season I figured this year would be a down year for Sinton.Losin all but 8 players makes one think that way. After goin 1-4 in non-district the Pirates are 4-0 in district and have captured their 3rd straight title.Congrats to the players and coaches on a job well done and may you have continued success next week and in the comin play-offs.HOW BOUT THEM PIRATES!!!

Congradulations. Taft did what they needed to do also. 13 - 7 in overtime vs. Mathis.

I guess Sinton owes Taft one, huh.Hopefully Sinton and Taft can both win next week and get Taft in the play-offs.

Ozzy:
Who will the Pirates draw in Round 1?I believe they're going to have to play Zapata... If not them, then it'll be Falfurrias, but I'd bet on Zapata...

I think first round goes East/West, then second round goes North/South. Our second round the last two years was against La Feria, who knocked off Zapata in the first round.

I just checked the UIL site, and sure enough, Sinton will play the winner of Disctrict 29 in the first round.

AFter looking, Sinton will most-likely be playing Hondo... The other two schools infront of them in enrollment shouldn't make the playoffs (From what I saw), so it'll most-likely be Hondo...

Anyone know what Hondo's record is?

Allright guru, forgive me for getting on your case so bad. I just get so tired of of all the sniping that goes on after every game we play. It seems that afer every game we play, we have to deal with some ones sour grapes. If some one from the Burnet administration called and told Ingram that they could expect 3,500 fans on halloween night, the night before deer season opens, they just flat miscalculated. The people of Ingram should decide what they need for their concession stands based on their own past experience and not on what some other school tells them. If they run out of hamburgers before the game is over, its ok. That happened in Llano and it was no big deal. As far as the comment about the Burnet game not meaning anything to Ingram, If thats your stratagy and game plan, so be it. Its definatly a different one. Anyway, peace be with you and good luck with your future games.

I've been looking at Hondo for a couple of weeks. I know they have a neat corn field maze before Halloween. Seriously, they are improved from last year and can play Sinton more than tough. We'll cross that bridge when it's here...
