UHHH that would be no. Glen Rose was rated number 32 in the state where as La
Mesa is number 108. What probably confused you was the fact that we made
Glen Rose look about the Same as you made La Mesa.

My bad, La Mesa is ranked 163.

 Im sorry but putting 70 on a team in the quarterfinals is not very poliet. And I said Cuero ran up the score.

There's nothing polite about the game of football. There's such a thing as being classless.

Besides, Celina's just enjoying their last season on top. With just the waterboy and equipment manager coming back, it's going to be tough for them to duplicate this season's success.

:)

Yeah about half way thru the third we started milking the clock and running in and out younger backs. Then at the end of the third we pretty much put the second string line and the jv qb in and they still scored 3 times in the fourth with one called back.

C'mon 325 you know better-we've taken a knee two outta the last three games to NOT run the score up. I suppose, we coulda pulled the JV and put in the middle schoolers or the band, but then what would you have had to cry about? So who's the little girl now? :D

Sorry, every now and again, I gotta pick back:)

Seriously that is Doc Haynes being pushed by his son Lance Haynes working on Breck Holman's (David) sling hand.

My guess is that David has some big stones in his sack. :)

I had to fight my son back from replying on this. The man in this picture is Doc...he's been around longer than any of us, and he is steadfast and loyal and terminally ill, but real nice with the jokes. The boys on the team, this town, and the coaches consider him an icon. Back off.

"Doc" is respected and admired in our community. While I'm sure no disrespect was intended, it would be a sure way to "fire up" our players. Something you really would NOT want to do.

-Someone posted a pic of "doc" and the player"
-I asked is that the players grandpa
-a celina poster said it was king saul in jest
-so in jest i said the celina godfather giving blessing to the team.

First of all you know nothing about my panties sweetheart, nor, obviously do you have an inclination of what pride means. As for you being simple, I would agree with that statement completely. I NEVER mentioned GOBLUE in my posts because frankly you hit me as so much more obnoxious than he could ever hope to be. I simply did not want someone as honored, intelligent and worthy as Doc Haynes to become the brunt end of any jokes. As for wearing my feelings on my sleeves, it aint only my sleeves buddy, but be aware that along with knowing where my feelings are located, I can use them in ways you couldn't begin to compete with. I'm certain you live near a Walmart, and they sale lots of self-hep book (and panties) should you need further direction. :D

I'm not upset with anyone. I just love high school football...especially this time of year.

Truth be told, I'm not a trash talker. I have too much respect for the players and coaches (not just Celina).

All players....
1. were sweating in August 2-a-days.
2. bled and played hurt during the season.
3. want to win each and every game, in which they played.

All coaches...
1. spend way too much time away from their family.
2. are way underpaid.
3. have a passion and commitment to winning.

Here's a round of applause for all our players and coaches!

First of all, the post was general to begin with. I may have responded to GoBlue, but it was only because his was the last I/we (son and me) read. Now, forgive me, if I mistook "all seriousness" for what seemed like fun and jest where Doc is concerned, but as far as coming on strong about it, your reply to me was just as direct. Which is fine, especially on here, because we all have our opinions. They're as plentiful as ........football teams.

And while pointing out that I am a new member with only 49 posts, 40 of which appear to be to this subject matter specifically, and that you are not, but are instead, a member of a familial community, I do not see the applicability to the situation at hand. However new or old I am to this forum is not relative to my concern, which was and is, I didn't want others to make light (not intentionally but because of lack of knowledge) about a man I, we, respect.

To your last point, I spelled help wrong AND I was being a smart ASS(umption), which is both genetically and gender inclined.

I would like to kiss and make up now, having made my point, as best I can, I do not wish to spend more time having a tizzy. Plus, I only fight like this with my husband and afterwards there is usually wine involved!

Since you live in West Texas, I'm assuming you know LLano!

I do know where Llano is, but I wouldn't call it West Texas.  :D :D I guess we can start over, deal.
