Districts 26-5A (Converse Judson and SA Madison), 19-2A (Elysian Fields and Tatum) and 9-1A (Munday and Seymour) still have two remaining contenders each.

A certain District 26-5A team is about to get a nice dose of reality this weekend.

I believe Rice will knock off Elysian Fields as well.

Those are some pretty tough districts though.

9-1a is extremely tough. Munday knocked off Windthorst last week and they were aslo in that district.

having seen Munday play, they probably have the best defense at the 1a level.

La Vega - only loss to China, beat Region Fav WOS

China Spring - only loss to La Vega, beat Region II finalist
GlenRose 41-13

Robison - lost first round but granted it was to LH, played celina to 19-6 loss, beat 2 playoff teams in kennedale and caldwell

Connally - non playoff team, beat the likes of 4a waco university, playoff team mexia 41-7

Gatesville - usual perineal power, had down year

Lorena - baseball only school

I like our old district when Snyder, Wylie, and swetwater were always in a three way tie for the district title. Pretty much suked for Merkle and Clyde though.

District 24 AAAA Lamar Cons,Bay City, ElCampo,Terry,Foster,Katy Seven Lakes.But a even tougher district 23AAAA Lamarque,Texas City,Dickinson,Friendswood

23 4A wasnt as good as normal this year....District 22 4A took out both La Marque and Texas City in the 2nd round of the D2 playoffs, Dickinson got beat in the 1st round....

that said 22 4A is pretty stout as well....(Dayton (still playing, go broncos!), Lumberton (knocked out in the 3rd round), Port Neches-Groves (knocked out by Lamar Consolidated (in 4a state final) in the 2nd round), Beaumont Central, Beaumont Ozen, Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Vidor, Nederland)
