Watch out for #4! Hard to cover and will catch the ball if it is anywhere near him! Running back is hard runner. Will run right over you! Hard to stop, but it can be done! Off line is huge on the right side! QB pulled it in the last two plays of our game for the WIN! For been a shop he played like a SR. I was most impressed with their QB, #4, and their defense. They had a big time stop with about 2mins left in the game! With that said, I believe defense is way Gilmer is playing you and not us! Gilmer is the real deal! They showed alot of good sportmanship in that game! This is how I hoped that the game would be play, helmet to helmet to the last second!

Gilmer is your typical east Texas football team. Slow and small. Not much talent on the roster. They're just a bunch of slow footed country boys winning each week on pride, heart and determination.

Gotta be proud if you're a Gilmer fan for those overachievers y'all have out there to have accomplished that. One can only wonder how much better those stats would look like if they had some of the athletes you see at Graham, Celina, Snyder or even Brownfield . It's amazing how well those little ol skinny boys from Gilmer have done this year. In the face of near insurmountable odds they've made it all the way to the state championship game. Quite an accomplishment.

And don't forget the two club-footed special teamers, the kicker with the artificial knee, and the outbreak of bunions that has befallen the team this week. :bigcry: :bigcry:

That's why UT, OU, A&M, La Tech, etc are beating down Gilmer's door right now!
