The steakhouse we ate at Friday night was delicious....can't remember the name though. Lytle something or other.

It was right down the road from the stadium!!

Lytle Land and Cattle Co (steaks).....not too far from the stadium owned by the ex-wife of the person who owns Joe Allen's and Cahoots.

Abuelos for mexican on S. 14th.

Joe Allen'/Cahoots...Steak/Seafood on S. 11th

Those are some of our favorites...

We lived in Abilene years ago and Joe Allen's Pit Bar B Q is EXCELLENT. Lots of stars pictures on the wall and such. If you're looking for fast food - Rick & Carolyn's Burgers & Fries have the BEST hamburgers we have ever eaten and they're very reasonable. Anyway, a couple of options!

She also owns a barbeque place that is pretty close to the stadium as well....pretty good stuff and a bit cheaper that Lytle Land and Cattle.

Mexican- Abuelo's or Ta'Molly's, both are very good, abuelos more expensive...

Steaks, Chicken Fry, etc.- definitely to Lytle Land

BBQ- Joe Allens, any of them

Oriental- Harvest Moon or Fuji's

And of course they have all the chain restaurants except for Applebee's...

Or if u want the best pizza you will ever have in your life, stop in Clyde at the Pizza House, it is right next to the I-20

Bueno? Not yet. We got a Sonic, 2 sit down eateries, 2 donut holes, and 2 pizza joints. Might be missing one or two.

We get to go through Prosper to Frisco and Plano and eat at some of their fine establishments. We will eat out on game nights in the other towns alot. But when we travel this far we would prefer "no bueno y no bell, entiendo usted"? I think. Maybe something where they will at least bring it to our table and refill our drinks.

It was Gardsky's Loft, and no it closed down many years ago. I dont think there is even a restaurant in that space anymore. Too bad though. Gardsky's was good eating!

There used to be a place, Southern Belle or something that had southern food (buffet style).

When I was in labor with my first child, my ex told me he was gonna go get something to eat...I THOUGHT he meant downstairs in the cafeteria....but NO, he went to that Southern Belle place, and the doctor held me off until he could get back!!!

My momma let him have an EARFUL (doctor AND Ex!!!!):D

Celina did have a Dairy Queen until the mid 80's sometime, building sits north of town still. Also they have a Gardsky's in Lubbock on Broadway

If your coming from Celina and spending the night on Friday, it's worth the trip to make plans around making the short trip (8 miles) to Buffalo Gap and eating a Perrini's Ranch.
