...was given a full four stars by the editors at Hollywood.com. That's like saying Mexican prison wardens are fair and just. I want a refund. The worst movie I've seen in a long, long time.

I thought it was good until the end. Then it pissed me off cuz it just stopped in the middle of nowhere

I heard it was really bad to. But it's gotten 96% positive reviews so far - http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/no_country_for_old_men/

Exactly. It was like grandma was sewing you a sweater for Christmas, had a bunch of different pieces that she was supposed to tie together, but two weeks before Christmas decided to get crazy, go to Vegas, and forgot all about finishing it.

When you receive your present, it's basically a four-ended washcloth that can't clean you very well, but will keep your hands warm.

This movie was great up until about 15 minutes before the end. It plateaued, then never went up or down, just kept going until it fell off a cliff.

LMAO thats one of the greatest analogies I've ever heard or in this case read.

from the trailer, I didn't even know what the movie was about. still don't and because I don't need a half a$$ed completed sweater from my grandma, I prolly won't see this one.

how would a silencer on a shotgun work? I've never even heard of that.

On a sidenote, it was kinda cool having been to most of the places the movie was shot. My grandparents live in Del Rio, used to drive through Sanderson regularly when going rafting down the Rio Grande in Big Bend, and have been to Eagle Pass (and Piedras Negras) a few times.

I just watched this movie & I thought it was pretty damn good!

I can't believe you guys didn't think it was good. All this talk about a sweater? LOL. I thought it was very poetic.

I enjoyed it but like others wish it had some sort of ending. My mind just doesn't conjure up endings.

It's funny, I watched it a week or two after its release date and all 20 people who were in the theater had a pow-wow by the bathrooms after it was over. We all talked about how we all wanted our money back. Every single one of us.

Six months later, if 20 people were to have a similar conversation after leaving the theater, they'd all be talking about how they want to go back and watch it.

I wasted pay per view money on it so at least I was at home and could take several days to wade through the crap. I think they ran out of money and had no other choice to end it. At least I hope that was what it was. Tommy Lee Jones is getting to where he only play the sour old coot. Getting kind of tiring.
