I'm gonna go with Marlin on this one,but i would love see the leps stay close in this one.I hear alot of talk about Marlin i never seen them play this year,but we did play the leps and they don't give up.I will say clearly in my mind that they are the best defensive team i have seen this year next to rice raiders.I can say this the leps coach knows how to come out on top in the big games.So let's wait and see guys before we load the wagon,but i think that Marlin will be the team to beat for the title.I sure would like to rice and bellville go at it one more time and it could very much happen.I think marlin will match up better with bellville than the leps. wink

i agree with you i really like the LaGrange but the marlin offense is a bit to much for LaGrange
even though LaGrange has the better defense.
the only chance that LaGrange has in this game is to keep the game close in the 4th quarter. if it is a high scoring game that is not LaGranges game.

i also think marlin matches up better with bellville as far both strength and weaknesses.
Believe me when i tell you that bellville does not want a rematch with rice consolidated due to the mismatches. bellville has a alot of trouble stopping a great running team with speed inside and outside. i know that bellville has improved on their defense but not to the point where they have a defense with big plays or can change a complex of a game.

i think the team to beat right now is Marlin for the state title.
