I think he's been at four different high schools rather than three. Maybe he didn't play at one of them, though. If he's 6'4", I'm a lot taller than I thought, because he's barely any taller than I am.

Yeah, I'd say Wylie's 'D' has come to play. They are doing a better job on Johnson than anyone all year, it sounds like.

Traylor makes better halftime adjustments than most, though, so it may be an ENTIRELY different second half.

This could go down to the wire. I think you have to concede Wylie has the momentum and will get the ball first in the third quarter.

That was a really good interview with Coach Sandifer during halftime. He has an air of authority to his voice.

It's amazing he has been there for 29 years, 22 as head coach. A number of his assistants have been with him the whole time.

Most of us in Gilmer hope Traylor will stay here the rest of his career as well. He's in his eighth season.

Around 2000, the coaching staff wanted to rally the defense and created the Black Flag. Someone - I don't know who - puts the name of all of the opponents Gilmer defeats on the flag after each game. If the need arises to rally the D, someone places the flag at a spot, and the offense will not get past it. There's no stat for it, but I don't think an opposing offense has gotten past the black flag in those kind of occassions
