I will be there. Question - What is the best route from Liberty Hill? I ask because the obvious answer is 281. However, I took this route about 6 weeks ago and 281 south was closed (construction) just inside Loop 1604. It was a nightmare. I'm thinking 35 to 37 may be the best way to go. Any thoughts?

Normally, I'd say 281, but the 'Dome is much closer to 35, so that's the way we're going.

I'm in West Texas right now, but I'll be in San Antone by game time- come hell or high water.

I'm pretty sure they are done with the construction, but you might check TxDOT if you still want to go 281, but as someone else already said, the dome is a lot closer to I35

Actually, I just looked at the map and 281 looks to be a good way to go if not under construction.

Well - I just checked TxDOT. Here is what they have for 281 in San Antonio:

Construction
US0281
Southbound
2007-11-01 9:00 AM to 2008-04-01 9:00 AM
FM 2537 to Mission Grande

Description: This will be a six month detour pending weather Southbound traffic will be detoured onto the Northbound bridge 1 lane in each direction.

Like I mentioned earlier, I went through this a few weeks ago and it was ugly. I am sticking with I-35.

We were all set to go until this morning. Hubby has work conflict beginning at 7 PM...so going to China Springs - La Vega game instead.

We'll definitely be at the LH game next week and will be supporting LH today from Waco and getting updates from the game. (Yes, I'm a LH band waggoner)
