Greg Schiano is the type of coach others should model themselves after. Forget football for a minute...Schiano is a man of his word. He said emphatically last season that he would not leave Rutgers until he accomplished his goal of bringing Rutgers to national prominence. He hasn't done that yet, and he said No to a Big Ten powerhouse. Loyalty in sports these days is a rare thing, and Greg Schiano is definitely a rare breed. He should be applauded for that fact. But instead, sportswriters and fans alike want to blast him for turning down one of the most storied, tradition-rich programs in CFB history. Shame on them.
