people with the air horns, painted in team colors, yelling in your ear and just about knocking you over when your team scores. Are they annoying or essential?

They make your team feel like they're important...

For play-off games or rivarly games yes, but for a game where you know your team will win by 50 no.

i think in a win by 50 its kinda disrespectful. i mean some times at games the fans dont even clap when we get the ball back on a turn over. it just seems pointless.

I sometimes see that at Forney games when we get up alot, fans wont stand up and yell, seems like me the flag runners and the guy that blows the big air horn are the only ones that noticed

i know what you mean. our last game we were up 46 to 0 and we had our 2nd and 3rd string wingbacks in at tail back and fullback. we also had our second line in and we still scored. i would hate to get beat like that.

I believe when the score is high and your 2nd teamers etc... are in it's important to cheer... The 2nd teamers need cheering as well...

The fans were GREAT for our home game against Sealy, it was really awesome... It took a while, but we got the 'sitters' up on their feet and cheering...

But the last two wins I haven't been impressed with our fans...

If you're going to be in the stands... STAND (and get loud)...

i guess both sides could be agruged. being loud and knowing appropriate limits. i dont know. its more fun to be loud though.

i can relate. i went to the everman kennedale game and we were all screamin and yelling the whole game. i had to be in a play at church the sunday after that and i could barely talk.

They're 4A, but every school could learn from them by example: Stephenville
In a word, deafening.

Sinton gets PLENTY loud, and we don't need no stinkin airhorns, can rattles or anything else like that. I do wish we'd bring back the cannon though.

It is not Friday Night Football without getting a little rowdy in the stands. I say ya have to have it.

I have a real big problem with the Sinton fans... and i am a former Sinton Pirate. My main gripe is the lack of a student section taht will get up, paint faces, wave flags, and get the crowd hyped.
