Okay, this may be politically incorrect but...
don't you find it strange that the woman who is running against him is also foreign? They both have these deep European accents...this is California though. . . I don't know- I just find it a little odd. Before anyone takes it to far, I am not against foreigners in anyway- but this is an American government- I think it is just plain weird. Could I become a famous actress in Scandinavia and run for a high government office there? Anyone else?

That's not HALF as strange as some of the other people who have filed for the governor's race, people like Larry Flynt. Geez, thank GOD we live in Texas! :D

It may be the American Dream- but he still isn't an American. It is not like we are living in the times of the "foundation of America" then maybe I could see it. Next thing we know- it could be someone from the Taliban...hey, it is the American Dream...

Seriously though- Larry Flint? I saw that last night too. Apparently he is being sued for sexual harrassment by a former staff member who found "toys" in the company dishwasher. I'm surprised she was offended, I mean, this is Larry Flint. It is probably in his company policy somewhere that "if it is sexual it is most certainly going to happen..."

I am so proud to be a Texan. Talk about a sigh of relief. We just have runaway senators and representatives- I can live with that.

What I want to know is.....what in Arnold's brain made him think to himself....."weights....movies....politics". I hope that the people in Cali. realize that this guy is just an overpaid bodybuilder.

Let's not forget though that there was one foreigner who came here from England when he was about 7 and he became one of our greatest patriots and did so much for the morale of the troops in several of our wars at a great risk to his life at times plus a great personal expense too. Of course I am talking about Mr. Bob Hope.

Varsity he never did run for political office or at least not that I know of. He had a tv special where he ran for President as a gag and was the leading candidate and a shoo in but it took a group of third graders to point out that he couldn't run for that office since he was born in England to stop his campaign. Of course it was all a gag but I bet he would have been a good president.

yeah jason, i was listening to espn radio 103.3, and they were talking about that, it might have been 1310 the ticket.

they said a female porn star, starring in movies such as hot shower 6, is running for governor.

Man, I heard today they are going to do a "lottery" to select the order in which the names appear. There are now something like 200 candidates for the Governor's office. Even though Arnold is a Republican, he is not by any stretch of the imagination a conservative one. He's closer to moderate bordering on liberal. I'm sure some of that is influence from his wife, but maybe he'll change some of his positions before long.
