Beamer ball meets the speed of the WVU Mountaineers. West Virgina just lost to Pittsburgh in the back yard brawl which cost them a chance to play for the BCS title. They are led by QB Pat White, RB Steve Slaton, and a stout defense. WVU has a record of 10-2 with big wins over Uconn, and Louisville and the two losses coming to South Florida 21-13 and Pittsburgh 13-9.

Va Tech has had a great year coming off of the tragedies that happened last April. They have rebounded nicely after being blown out vs LSU. There only other loss was a flukey loss in which BC scored two late TD's to win a game 14-10 that VT dominated. They are 10-2 with those two losses and key wins over UVA, Boston College(avenged previous loss in ACC title game), and Clemson. There led by a strong defense and have been using both Tyrod Taylor, and Sean Glennon at QB to led them to this great record. Always with Va Tech got to watch for Beamer Ball and the special teams

Who wins and why?

Va Tech, Big!
They should just beat them on special teams and the fact the 2 QB system is finally working.

probably the most underrated team in the country imo is va tech but i pich wvu in an upset bc pat white has a chip on his shoulder bc of the way he went out against pitt i say wvu by 3 on a pat white 35 yd td scramble

Hokies in a close one... I know everyone has felt that WVU is a very overrated team, but their offense would keep 'em in the game because I don't think Va Tech would put up monsterous numbers... I would give the edge to WVU based on their ability to bust-open on the kick and punt return games, but we're talking Beamer here... Beamer Ball starts with the special teams...

Va Tech has turned into a dang good ball club... would love to see them play LSU again... it'd be a different story...
