#13 BYU at # 4 USC

In the third first round game we have the USC Trojans taking on Mountain West champs BYU.

BYU comes in with a 10-2 record and went 8-0 in conference. They only suffered two setbacks to UCLA, and Tulsa. They are led by QB Max Hall who threw for 3617 yards and 24 tds on the season. BYU is ranked number 19 in the AP poll coming into this matchup.

USC the Trojans come in with an identical 10-2 record and finished with 7-2 conference record which was good enough for a sixth straght pac 10 title. John David Booty leadsthe Trojans offense which also has a whole host of strong running backs including freshman star Joe Mcknight. USC only suffered two losses vs Stanford and Oregon and are now one of the hottest teams in the country

BYU's offense won't be completely shut down, but that doesn't mean they'll score a lot.

yea i hope they play a little better than they did against washington, la tech, san jose st, nevada. everyone of which sucks. they also barely beat fresno which isnt as horrible as the aforementioned teams but should not be able to play with the #10 team in the country. i might use your post as my future signature when hawaii gets stomped.
