Major Internet Sites

Is it just me or are most major internet sites VERY,VERY,VERY slow in loading right now?? I have cable, the 3ADL loads fast as ever and other regional sites I use. But the big sites are SLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
