Sorry but if u cant win your own conference you should not be playing for a NC title

What a joke. I guess any team can schedule several weak opponents, lose a game, and still have a shot at the NC title. They can even not play in a conference title game, sit out the last 2 weeks of the season, wait for other teams lose, and still jump out front with 0 quality wins. What a shame?

i cant decide which is more disgusting, OSU in the title game or kansas in a BCS game

Also what kind of crap rule is no confrence can have 3 teams in the bcs? What if they are the top 3 teams in the nation. Mizzou got shafted so bad. They beat kansas and Illionios and Mizzou is out, Kansas and Illionois in. Explain that one to me.

how is USC not in the title game?

IHStangFan

This is garbage...Ohio State is gonna get BLASTED. Georgia would have been a much better matchup against LSU and might have actually had a shot at winning the game. USC doesn't even deserve to be in the conversation.

Sad day for the BCS.

IMO Missouri should be in the Rose Bowl over Illinois.

They had two chances to beat Blow U and didnt do it, so they didnt really get shafted.

Losing to Stanford perhaps, or the rest of the weak schedule they played. Could be some of those factors.

One of Illinois losses were to Missouri.

I've been known to call Texas that myself, but I havent done it in a long time. I figured this Aggie is better at being a respectful rival. Unless its OU or Tech, then I aint so nice. :D

Ok, just cause I pointed out how Mizzou lost to OU, didnt mean that I think they should have been behind the Jaybirds. Yes , they should have got in and Kansas not, but if they had taken care of bidness, this discussion wouldnt be taking place.

true, IMO the big 12 is the toughest conference right now, its the system that has failed the teams.........

Not if you ask BDR. He seems to think the Big 12 is pathetic next to the SEC, and its a fallacy to even breath the two in the same sentence. Granted it is strictly speculation as to true domination, I think the two would match up and play some hella football games. Even if the SEC did win more games in head to head competition, it would not be a cake walk.

This should be how the BCS bowls should be IMO....

BCS Title Game
Georgia/LSU

Rose Bowl
USC/Ohio State

Orange Bowl
Virginia Tech/Missouri

Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma/Hawaii

Sugar Bowl
West Virginia/Kansas

Disagree with Georgia. You can make the best case for OU. I think they got hosed the most. Not Missouri.

Too bad it isnt USC/tOSU

Trojans would win 76 - 3

LSU is only going to beat them 62 - 10

:D :D :D :D
