I'm just hoping for probably the most tradition rich final in the history of texas high school football.....Cuero vs. Celina!

I just get ancy thinking about it...but both must first take care of business elsewhere!:mad:

This could very well happen, But I sure hope Snyder squeeks in there past Vernon and Celina/Glen Rose.

man, 65-80 were some lean years for the Buckeyes. We played in 3A then also, in what is known as 4A now. when i was growing up we were getting smoked!!!!!!!

i didn't realize cuero has had most of their success since 1970 (celina's since 1966 or so)

they are both very similar, and both have 68/73 playoff wins in the last 40 years

that's pretty impressive

celina's overall record is better because they have been around 30 years less, but cuero has been highly successful forever, and they didn't have as much down time during that 40 year span from 1967-today as celina (the early 80's were the weak link for the bobcats)

That would be a great matchup...and likely in Waco unless the teams flip for Dallas vs San Antonio.

i love state championships in Texas stadium the week before christmas

all the other stadiums---it just doesn't feel like a title game
