I'm hoping for some good adjustments at halftime by Pleasanton.

I'm hoping for some good adjustments at halftime by Pleasanton. Pleasanton is a one man show. VERY one dimensional (or at least what I saw from them last year) in that...the QB Salinas basically runs the ball every play. If you can stop him, you can stop Pleasanton. LETS GO GONZALES!!

Congratulations to the Pleasanton Eagles on your victory. You played a tough game tonight. Liberty Hill will be difficult to beat but show them what you have got. Some of you folks may not understand the kind of year the Apaches had this year. Coach Locke took a bunch of kids who were 3-8 last year and had them believing in themselves. I doubt if there is another team in the state who started the year in 06-07 with an 0-6 record that has come back in the 07-08 school year to be 10-3. I know that I am as proud of them as I can be. Now we will take our ball into the gymnasium and don't be too surprised if you see these same kids in the Erwin Center in March playing for the state basketball championship. They are that kind of athletes. Hastings, Hastings, Hastings, Meredith, Burton, Bird, Kloesel, Laredo, Simper, Wright, Collins and all the rest of you, congratulations Apaches on a great year. You are as good as it gets.

Wow Apaches! What a game. You had an awesome season and it was a great ride. Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of. We are all so proud of you and can't wait to see what you've got for B-ball and baseball.

I have to also say that the Pleasanton QB is a class act. After the game when his team was celebrating, he was on the Gonzales side congratulating our boys on a good game. Very classy!
