Cuero, when your up 29-7...change out some players...almost lost the hoss and then what...did not need Whittington in at that point of the game...plenty others capable of finishing the game ...we as fans, i guess will never understand that ...anyway, great game...way to much speed for Wimberley though...think Wimberley should have thrown more slant patterns...might of been a little different in the score...congrats to both teams and good luck next week against Palacios...

Good game, Cuero...you guys are going to be hard to beat. I will say, though, that I noticed you do not have the size of previous years, and maybe not quite the speed. But obviously you are too much for us this year, to state the obvious.

Will you go all the way? I am not sure. I dont know enough about the remaining competition to venture a guess. I will root for you though, you will have your work cut out for you. I hope you beat them all. Good luck!

Wimberley didn't have much. I was very shocked, I thought it would have been a closer game. I think the gameplan of the Wimberley coaches was HORRIBLE. With our corners playing so far off the receivers, they could have "dinked" it down the field. Anyway, the 29-15 score does not tell the story... this was never a ballgame. Total domination by Cuero... now on to the next round :thumbsup:

Absolutely correct, GreenMachine. Cuero could have kicked the chair out from underneath us at anytime, but they mercifully let us hang around. There was never ANY threat of us winning(except in the very beginning before anyone scored).

And you are 100% correct on another point...the worst coached game from Nelms since our last loss to Cuero...3 years ago. The only word that comes to mind is "sad".

But, to be honest, even a better coached game might not have done it...we were outmatched, plain and simple. Mostly in the key positions.
