My husband has come down with the flu or something and doesn't feel like going to the Permian game. I told him I might drive to Sweetwater...but don't want to sit out in the wind and rain!

Oh well...my dad is having a big birthday BBQ, I really should have made plans to go to that anyway.

Seminole always starts up slow. Greenwood had the 13-0 in the bi-round, but Seminole always finds away to come back.

Vernon is pretty tough. And they adjust well at the half. I have not seen them play this year but they are usually a decent closer.

Personally, I didn't think we were very good this season!! I'm afraid we are beginning a drought that may last a couple of years!!:(

Greenwood did have a decent team this year. They weren't great, but they did well. Against more talented teams their lack of talent showed, but Greenwood will rebound. When? That's the question. Also, it all depends on what other 3A teams have in the region.

Unless we get some move-ins, I think our talent pool is pretty shallow. When the 7th and 8th graders get up there, I think we will be okay.

But...you never know what the next year will bring!!

I'll still be there rooting them on....regardless!!

Yea, I'm with you. We had a lack of speed, didn't have a crunch time scorer with Wilber at 70%, and we struggled with injuries most of the year.

Players competed hard, coaches worked at it, but in the end we were just OK. I thought Seminole was only OK. That's why they just beat us by one touchdown.
