(Week 5) Class 3A Team of the Week: Marlin Bulldogs. Knocking off 4A No. 1 Ennis, which was riding a 31-game winning streak and had won two straight state championships, was the biggest victory in school history. Runner-up goes to the Hardin Hornets. One week after their amazing victory over Hardin-Jefferson, the Hornets had another bizarre play to win a game. With less than three minutes remaining and trailing Buna 21-20 last Friday, Hardin lined up for a PAT to tie the game. The kick was blocked, but Hornets fullback Harrison Gray picked up the ball and scooted into the end zone for two points and the 22-21 victory.
