There's a strange silence from the community 40 miles north of Dallas.

Did Coach Ford put a ban on all pre-game interviews and internet forum talk?

Celina is playing football this week, correct? Has anybody seen pictures of BillyFred, Bobcat1, Bobcat Benny, et. al., on any milk cartons?

I guess the board has finally conditioned us to be quiet. We are ranked here as the cockiest fans and yet you complain that we aren't trash talking. Which way do you want it?

I really think that this year the team is taking each opponent one game at a time with the intent to "Finish It" as they keep saying.

Fans are really just outsiders that wave the flags based upon a loose association with teams that our kids play and root for or the towns that we live in.

For me, it is fun to be associated with a winner, but that does not make me the winner.

Now that being said, I do think that I am better than you but it has NOTHING to do with Celina or football!:crazy1:

The problem is that East Texas fans use smoaky. The cockiness had to go to them.

And I am going to slightly disagree with gatordaze.

Celina wins because I give Butch Ford a decent game plan each week. Its all me! :D

OK, this Pittsburgh fan posted this article from the Dallas Morning News on Smoaky.

Celina can certainly be beat, but in my mind there is a definite translation one can make when coach Ford says this. He has used it in the past.

Fastest guy we have only runs a 4.4ish.

He is going to Penn State next year. Good thing he is going to the slow Big 10. Wait that little DE runs the same.

ROFL Benny. That was what I implied over at smoaky's after all the Pitt people assured me that the 3.9 40 was the real deal and they had 5 guys that could do it..... Of course this is a little tongue in cheek. They ended with Speed Kills. I laughed and said of course.

The faster you are going when you hit the brick wall, the more it hurts.

Hey I try to give out as little info as I can anymore. I like for Coach Ford to suprise them. This year he has been keeping it real simple so far so I am anxious to see what we get Friday.

Yeah I know. At least Gilmer can back it up. Of course then I started braggin on our 5.6 40 times and how it had always worked for us.....;)
