Give the kid a break - that is the national top 100. He could still be a major recruit without being in the national 100.

He doesn't even have a star ranking on rivals. He is on the 2009 Rivals.com 100 to Watch list though.

all the schools that are recruiting him asked rivals to please not put him on there, that way they dont have to compete with 40 schools, just 20 :p

You get a lot of different things from a lot of different recruiting services. Personally, I prefer Scout to Rivals just based on some of the past recruits I've personally seen and where each service had them ranked. I'm no talent evaluator by any means, but I know a little football and have seen some rankings on Rivals that have left me scratching my head.
