who is playing the best RIGHT NOW...not who is the best team this year...my answer to those two questions are entirely different. LSU would be in the Top 2...Georgia and Va Tech wouldn't be in the Top 5 either.

Georgia is playing great ever since Mareno came into his own at RB and Brown also played great vs GT. If you put Georgia against South Carolina who beat them earlier right now UGA would roll by 30. I also think they would handle Tennessee pretty easily so I think right now they should be way up there. Watch out for these guys next year with Stafford just a soph this year and Mareno a freshman

In my opinion USC isnt consistent right now, they are still young though. Besides UCLA could still give it to them, that game is always a hard fought battle.

I also think it took them a while to adjust to not having a huge gamebreaker at reciever
