Bowl Projections: After Week 13

FOXSports.com
Posted: 6 hours ago
We told you weeks ago that it was going to be West Virginia vs. Ohio State in the national title game.
Fine, so we wussed out on our projection along the way, but with LSU losing to Arkansas, it looks like it'll be Pat White's Mountaineers vs. Vernon Gholston's Buckeyes for the crystal ball. Check out all the predictions and projections, changed as the latest news and rumors come in.

Kansas will play in a BCS game...likely the Fiesta Bowl vs either Arizona State or Oklahoma. Texas Tech will be in the Gator Bowl...not South Florida. The Gator loses the chance to take Notre Dame in 08 or 09 if they take a Big East team this year. They won't lose that chance.

If Mizzou can manage to beat OU (i hope it will happen), then they will be in the nat'l championship game. I would rather see them there then WV.

I would rather see anybody but Ohio State there. The big ten is a joke and if they do make it, they'll get crushed again. P_ $$ on you Delaney and your big ten !

I heard on ESPN radio that South Florida already excepted a bid to the Sun Bowl. I guess UCLA is out then?

Or does USF knock Tech out of that Bowl?

Well if Oregon's last game against UCLA plus the three quarters against Arizona State without Dennis Dixon is any indication, UT could score 7 points and win the game. Gosh they look awful without Dixon. I didn't think Brady could possibly be as bad as his brother. I was wrong.

When the Gator takes the Big 12...the Sun Bowl can no longer take a Big 12 team and would instead take a Big East team.

1. I'm actually interested in this matchup now. I had heard for a long time that this was possible, but thought A&M would get torn up. After seeing the team play loose and not afraid to take shots in a big game, it might not be the blowout on national TV that A&M teams have come to be known for under Fran (well, I guess they're not under Fran anymore). If A&M plays like they did against Texas, I could see the Ags winning. Big if, though.

2. Resume game for Mike Leach. Could be a matchup pitting his current team against his next team.

3. I like the bowl we're getting, and I love the matchup. Michigan may be one of the most underrated teams in the nation after starting the year with losses to Appy State and Oregon.

Then Todd Graham is still a douchebag.

I'm on board with that. Welcome to the Ron Zook era. Except not in Gainesville.

And I take that back about Graham. If he wins and wins big, he's alright in my book.
