It isn't completely perfect but then what is but you would get the top teams. The only thing I might chance is if you have in one of those rare years that a conference champion has more than 3 loses it should be replaced with a team at large that has a higher ranking and better record.

The bowls could still be in existence because there would be pleanty of good teams left to have a good bowl game.

this is the only part of that article I really disagree with

Is it likely that Central Florida could beat Ohio State? Of course not.

Ohio State really isn't that great this year... they're just a name with a crap schedule...

Central Florida, thought not great itself, is still a team that I feel is on the same level as Ohio State this year...

here's what the bracket might have looked like this year:

Who would you pick?

I'd pick:

1st round

Mizzou over Central Mich

USC over Oklahomer

KU over Hawaii in a barn-burner

Georgia over BYU

WV over Troy Aikman

LSU over the Boston College Fluties

VT over Flawda

and OSU over UCF in a clossse one

2nd round

USC over Mizzou

Jawja over Kansas

LSU over Mountain-Folk

Virginia Tech Gobblers over Ohio Sub-par

3rd round

USC over Georgia in one of the greatest games of all time

Virginia Tech over LSU the second time around

Champions:
USC

Doesn't matter, won't happen, but could you imagine the College Football pick-'em possibilities? everyone in the office would be filling out their college football brackets... awesome

I like that plan also. We need it bad. Every year we say this. Who actually is in position to make this happen?
