Who were you rooting for on Saturday?? Personally, I was rooting for Kansas. They were a true Cinderella story that could actually win a national championship since they were from a BCS conference. They let 3 opportunities slip by in the first half with the 2 missed FG's and the INT in the endzone...but still made a hard charge late in the game. Given another drive...and they would've won the game. Oh well...it was fun while it lasted.

Also, am I the only one that thinks Chase Daniel is a punk???

I was rooting for Kansas.

But was going to root for Kansas or Mizzou after that game regardless who won.

I rooted for Mizzou because I felt they were a better team and had a better chance of representing the Big XII well in a big bowl game.

I was rooting for Kansas because they have been a stomping ground for football for so long. It was refreshing to see them succeed this year. However, now that they have lost I am happy since Missouri will represent the Big 12 better than Kansas would have. I just hope Missouri beats the crap out of UT @ Norman.

That's going to pretty much be impossible...

How's that? They lost by 10 when they played at Norman earlier in the season...Missouri has decent speed, a great field general...UT @ Norman lost the vaunted freshmen RB, their QB still has a headache, anything is possible.

The game's being played in San Antonio, and they're playing OU...UT @ Norman is wrong on both fronts.

Mizzou has a lot of speed. I definitely think they can beat OU.

OU = University of Texas at Norman, Oklahoma, Everyone knows that silly.:D
I don't care if the game is in San Antonio. Stoops and company will get exposed just like they did last year by Boise St.

BlowU is an entirely different team away from Norman this season:

Home Games

52.6 points/game on offense
15.6 points/game on defense

Record...7-0

Away/Neutral Games

31.6 points/game on offense
22.0 points/game on defense

Record...3-2

Take out the 62-21 win @ Tulsa and the numbers are worse...

24 points/game on offense
22.3 points/game on defense

Record...2-2

To add a few more stats...let's look at Sam Bradford's numbers home vs neutral/away:

Home Games

135 of 178 (75.8%)
1876 yds (268 ypg)
25 TD's (3.6 per game)
3 INT's (0.4 per game)
QB Rating of 207.4

Away/Neutral Games

60 of 101 (59.4%)
783 yds (196 ypg)
7 TD's (1.75 per game)
4 INT's (1 per game)
QB Rating of 138.8

***I removed his stat line from the Texas Tech game (2 of 3 for 11 yds) from these statistics***

I haven't had a chance to breakdown Chase Daniel's numbers yet for comparative purposes...but one can definitely conclude that Sam Bradford is a MUCH better QB at home than he is on the road. If I pulled out the numbers from the Tulsa game...then his stats would drop to under 180 ypg and a very pedestrian QB rating of 117.8!!!

Based on OU's history this year...Mizzou definitely has the ability to beat the Sooners soundly.

well if that's what you call them, then I fully expect that Mizzou will defeat OU.

I just don't get into any of this calling schools different names because you want to make fun of them thing...

If BlowU beats Mizzou...there is a good chance that the Fiesta Bowl would take Kansas as it's "at large" team and give us a Kansas vs Oklahoma game. How fun would that be??? :D
