now I think he is just bada$$. 2 returns for TD's today. why don't the Bears just throw him some screens or just freaking pitch it to him. just get the ball in the guys hands!!!!!

Yeah, he's just a playmaker. He was good in college, but he didn't do it like THIS.

you have to give credit to the guys blocking for him. I mean he is an extraordinary athlete but the blocking has got to be good to do what he does. The Bears are to the point where if Hester doesn't break something they have a lot of trouble putting points up

You are absolutely right. That's a big part of it, because although he does break some tackles, on some of those returns he's just using straight line speed because he has lanes to run through.

dang - if he was THAT good that he could not play offense in college because he "couldn't grasp the offense" then he must be, well, you know .....

just saw a stat on sportscenter, he is now 4th all time in kick returns for TDs(10), in 27 career games. the other three have well over 100, the leader over 200 games(13)

I would line him up 15 yards behind the QB who is under center. At the snap have the QB turn and lob him a backward pass that looked like a punt and tell him to run.

if you threw him a pass, he would probably catch it and run back toward the line of scrimmage
