The 2003 3A Girl's HS Volleyball State Champions Wimberley were voted the top team and beat out San Antonio Clark who won the 5A State Championship - a team that Wimberley beat during the year. They were awesome and were not only the best team in Texas but perhaps even the entire country. They had a great 30 - 3 record but in the playoffs they were at their best and sweep every team by 3 - 0 scores during the playoffs even though a couple of indidual games were close. Great job Ladies. 3A should have just given you the State Championship before the season and let everyone else fight for second place. :) Good Job Lady Texans in bringing the championship to Region IV again.
