Everytime I watch KU, I see a team that overachieves, but barely wins against mediocre teams. They have good lines, but nothing spectacular. Their WR's and DB's are special, but there's not much else. They have an alright RB and some decent LB's, but not the kind of players that will set the world on fire.

And is there a more overrated and overhyped QB in the nation than Reesing right now? I've seen him in person. He's not that good, but his receivers sure make him look like it.

Mizzou will have no less than a two-TD lead at half. If they don't, I'll be back to eat my crow. The Tigers' ability to pressure an offense and their overall talent level (which is considerably higher than the 'Hawks') will wreak havoc on KU.

You are right on that part.

I still don't see the blowout or it getting ugly quick (it's already halftime).

Hopefully Mizzou cranks it up in the second half!

You're right, kep, it isn't downright ugly just yet, and one quick score puts KU right back in the game, but they've been outgained by a 2-to-1 margin so far (136 total yds vs. 272 total yds). Although I admit I've been paying more attention to the Auburn/Bama game, when I do flip it over, the Hawks have been getting handled by the Tigers.

The Jayhawks have had two golden opportunities to score and have missed two field goals as well.

Does anyone seriously think KU has a shot to win this game? I mean I'm not saying Mizzou is that good but Kansas? Come on now. They have no business being associated with the words "BCS National Championship Game." Even if they somehow beat Mizzou they'd still have to face the beast known as OU...all the media has been doing is trying to overhype the game so the ratings won't drop.

I think most of the media has been saying that Kansas has to prove themselves by beating Mizzou and OU. The way it's looking that won't be happening!

Waxahachie did one last week against Cove, so I guess you can. Mizzou was lined up for it to.
