West was a well coached team with a solid defense. They kept comin and never quit. My hat is off to them.

Now on the other hand I sure would like to have whatever the referees were smoking......:rolleyes:

the best i can figure west had 77 yards of offense, Celina had 85 yards of bs penalties...like the defenseive pass interference call when the ball was throw to someone 20 yards to the right and intercepted by celina...giving west a first down on the three.

West had the ball noless than three differentg times with 1st and goal, from the 1, the 3, and the 4 and couldn't punch it in.

Celina took a kneee to end the game on the West 1 yard line...very sportsman like.

Next up Pittsburgh in possibly Greenville

BEDFORD--Charley Waldrep rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, and Seth Davis rushed for a pair of scores and threw for another as Celina advanced in the Class 3A Division II bracket with a 41-0 shutout victory over West on Friday night at Pennington Field.
Celina (12-0) will face Pittsburg next Friday night in the Region II semifinals at a site to be determined.
Davis scored on an 18-yard keeper and on a one-yard sneak, then passed to a diving Austin Carey for a TD with 18 seconds left for a 21-0 halftime lead.
Waldrep took over with 82 rushing yards in the second half and put the game away with scoring runs of 18 and four yards.Celina ended the scoring when Breck Holman picked up a bad snap on a punt attempt in the end zone.
Celina's defense held West (7-5) to one net rushing yards and preserved the whitewash with two impressive goal-line stands in the second half.

The guys over at smoakys think that the site will be Texas Stadium. So far nothing official.
