Google Earth Question...

Why are the satellite images on Google so old? We havent lived in Forney since 2002 and when I look at it on Google Earth I can tell it was from when we lived there. Is their a more up to date one?

I was looking at one the other day, it was the most up to date I had ever seen. I had to zoom all the way in for it to be the new image, zoomed out it was old. It actually had forney's new stadium, as opposed to just the two main hallway school that you went to middle school in. I will look when I get home what site it was.


Almost all of these places have the same global image, google doesn't have it's own satellite in space taking pictures.
