Favre and the Packers are rolling right now. 10-1, who woulda thunk it.

Anyone have tickets for sale?

I see the cowboys winning this one. Of course I am a huge cowboy fan. Cowboys looked pretty good against the lowly jets.

well dallas finally got newman back to 100% and he looked pretty good today...also i think alot of the boys pass defense relies on pressure...so favre could give them trouble...i go with dallas by 10

It'll be shown locally, just not across the state.

But you are still free to go to Winghouse!

Green Bay will win this shootout by at least 7 points. They're here to stay, and with the emergence of Ryan Grant as a legit runner they look even more dangerous offensively.

Romo forces some throws and occasionally forgets to look the safety off the play when he's going deep. What I DO like about Dallas is Marion Barber III running the football. I think he's slightly less powerful than Jones-Drew, but I love the tenacity he plays with.

As I said, Green Bay by at least 7.

I have it, but for those who live in Dallas and don't have the NFL Network, it'll be shown on TXA21

blame owners like JJ and the NFL network. Normally this game would've been on regular TV. But they had to put it on their network and are forcing people to find alternate ways to watch it.

Actually blame the cable companies that want to put the NFL Network on a more expensive tier and not on the basic cable package

No kidding. The satellite companies aren't charging extra. It's basic and not part of NFL Sunday Ticket. Thank God, too. I love this channel. I'm gonna have a little crowd at my house on Thursday. :)

I may not get near a TV this week. The Pack worship is just gonna be too much to stomach. I love Brett, but ESPN, NFL Network, FSN, et al will go on & on about him & the Pack this week and all that's gonna happen is Brett is gonna stink it up at Texas Stadium like he has in the past.

Cowboys 38
Pack 28

The Jets beat the Steelers last week.

Alot of the ESPN guys are still saying that the Steelers are the second best team in the league.

Seems strange too me.

I sure hope your right.

One thing i've learned through the years of watching Favre is that he can pull off some amazing wins.

Should be a great game.

I think it will come down to which DL is able to get pressure and/or which OL does the best protecting the QB.

That's $350,000 a month that TW would have to pay NFLN. Where's the business logic in that. As a company TW is trying to keep this charge from the regular consumer that doesn't want to watch this network. Why not put it in a sports tier where only the people that want to watch it can. Plus the NFLN did not offer the same terms to TW as they did the satellite co. and comcast nationally. TW locally offered to put the game up on Pay per view with all the revenue going back to NFLN. But jones & Co. said no. Pure greed on their part.

Eventually cable co's like charter and TW will have to make a deal because the majority of the games will eventually be shown on this network. The rich get richer while the consumer suffers.
