Just wondering what happens in the event of pouring rain during game time? Will the game be played if it is not lightening? And if the game is a Saturday game and can not be played at the scheduled time, what is the next option? Just wondering because based on the weather predictions it is not looking good in the Houston area on Saturday.

i've see 2 games delayed due to torrential rain, no lightning - but in each case once it let up the game was started/resumed

I remember a Wylie/Breckenridge game my freshman year in HS. Breck won the game in the end...but there were 24 combined fumbles. They fumbled 16 times but only lost 4 while Wylie fumbed 8 times but lost 6 of them. That was BY FAR the wettest/muddiest game I've ever seen.

Does anyone know what kind of turf they have in Humble? Is it natural or artificial?
