I hear a lot about this place called Snyder and the football team from there.

I realized I don't really know much about Snyder.

What makes Snyder so good?

Does Snyder have a bowl that is arguably the best stadium in the state?

Does Snyder have the best running back playing quarterback who is not a one man team?

Does Snyder have a size advantage playing in 3A only after bribing the UIL?

Does Snyder have a team full of D1 recruits with a refuge or two mixed in?

Does Snyder have the unstoppable Slot T?

Does Snyder have 7 state championships and uniforms so bright that all opponents are rendered blind and helpless?

Does Snyder have the ability to beat the Kansas City Chiefs?

Does Snyder have 10 state championship appearances, 3 state championships, world class speed, but most importantly an intimidating mascot?

Please enlighten me!

Dont know how much truth there is to it.

But I hear they have worked a deal with the UIL and the NFL, to

play the 5A state champs after they win the 3A of course, and the

week after the Superbowl, they will square off with the winner of

that as well. I also hear their negotiating with the NCAA now to

get a deal to play the national champ.:D

the Freshman and Soph team continues play in the UIL playoff system

JV from snyder will get the at large bid in the BCS this year

and the Varsity plays the NFC championship winner for the chance to face the Patriots in Feb.....

I am amused by the comments for and against Snyder. It is also flattering that Snyder draws this much attention.

Now I didn't grow up in Snyder, but I got here as quick as I could.
