I did hear that Snyder hijacked Miami Northwesterns plane, the Tigers suited up in their uniforms and went on to defeat SLC.

My sources also tell me that after Snyder wins the 3A state championship game 83-0, they will petition the UIL stating that they are the rightful owners of the 5A Texas state championship trophy. After this is all finished they will lay claim to Miami Northwesterns Florida state championship as well.

Ok, ok...not at good as some of the others. But all Bears and KC Chief references had been used up.

there are winnless teams that wern't afraid to play anybody this year. Or maybe I'm wrong, and they lost because of fear. Would Snyder play SLC? I'm sure they would gladly. What the hell would they have to loose? But would SCL play a 3A team like Snyder? Probably not. Because they are supposed to win, but if they get upset by a 3A team, They'd never get over it.

If I'm SLC or any other 5A team sitting on a pedistal that has been well deserved, I would'nt dare play a decent 3A team. That would be a loose - loose situation.

If you go back and check the history for the past 20 or so years, you will find that both Sweetwater and Wylie have usually beaten Brownwood, and by large margins on several occasions. I dont know if Snyder has even played Brownwood in the last 20 years.

I Brownwood does drop to 3A, it'll be intersting to see where they get placed. Their kindof right on the regional boundry line.

The Massey ratings has this as the 2nd toughest 3A schedule in the state. snyder has the 33rd toughest rated schedule. Sweetwater played a tougher schedule (9th) than Snyder.

I don't think Wylie's scared of anyone, they would line up against Abilene High, Cooper, or Stephenville if it would make them better.

I hereby declare this post to be dumbest one ever posted in the history of 3Adownlow. I actually can't believe that someone would actually compare themselves to arguably the best HS program in the state or maybe the nation. Snyder wins one (1) playoff game and they can compete with the likes of SLC. WOW!!!! Dude, you need to get out more. There actually is a game played in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Odessa, that is a wee-bit different than that in Scurry County. And, believe me, there are Wylie fans that amaze me too, when they start talking about things like beating Abilene High and Cooper, but I have to admit that I have never heard one say that we could match up against SLC. And BTW, win a state championship and THEN start talking smack about how good you are. But even then, keep it at the 3A level just so that people will not think you are a total idiot.

He never said Snyder would beat SLC (that I saw) he just said he thought it would be a better game than expected.

He also said that a a 3A team being beat by a 5A team would pretty much be expected, but a 5A team (especially one the caliber of SLC) wouldn't play a good 3A team, because imagine if they DID get beat.
