Any thoughts on this one? Wimberley on a 4 game win streak and seem to be finally hitting their stride. Dont know to much about Lytle other than they beat Crystal City.

Wimberley played one of the toughest schedules in the state. The young Texan earned a lot of experience from it and are now seasoned veterans. Too much for Lytle.;)

I think Wimberley will win... and I hope both Wimberley and Cuero win...

honestly I've always liked the place y'all are playing at this week... even with the track that's my favorite place to watch a game... Long Live The Rockpile...

I know yall are just dying from some payback arent yall? lol and likely it will happen next week. though i must say its in OUR best interest for us to be playing PI next week for the sake of escaping region 4. tho that likely wont happen, yalls game is pretty much the 85 chicago bears vs TSD.... lol.... God forgive me! does anybody know much about lytle?

Rushing yards - 3110 for 282.7 game avg.

Running back named Joplin has
252 carries- 1777 yds.- 7.1 avg. - 24 tds.

i think its a combination of the talent that they have finally clicking and the cake walk of a scuedule in district and bi district

but never the less..Wimberley takes this one.

i was at the alamodome last year for the Cuero/Wimbo game and it was a good one, hopefully i could make it again

We just had alot of young inexperienced players that needed some playing time to get used to the varsity level. By playing the tough schedule that we did they got used to that level of competition and have improved greatly throughout the season and it seems to be finally clicking. This team is alot like the 04 team that had the great showdown with Cuero, D is really good but the O is trying to catch up. We just need to take care of business this week and start worrying about Cuero or PI on Sat.

that's sounds odd coming from a wimberley fan. It seems as if you guys never back down from a challenge. IF cuero wins, I'm sure the whole town would love a rematch, maybe by then it could be two paybacks in a row!

But we still have that old district advantage over Wimberley

I was just trying to stir the pot a little bit. haha. no whomever we play it will be fun to watch. we both know another Wim/Cuero game would be entertaining, but im geting ahead of myself, I shall say no more until we get past Lytle.... Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Wimberley by at least 3TDs, Cuero will win in the following week, however, Wimberley will give em a good fight.

i agree, wimberley always plays well above their talent. then you mix in some talent and you get a state championship in 2005 lol
