Glenn Starks, an outstanding wide receiver for the Javelina football team in 1974-77 and also a letterman with the Javelina basketball team, died Monday afternoon after suffering an apparent heart attack in Houston. Glenn was on Javelina teams that compiled a 46-1-1 record, won three national titles and won four Lone Star Conference championships. He was an All-America first-team honoree and was inducted into the Javelina Hall of Fame in 1983.

Wow, what a flash from the past sorry to hear, prayers to his family.

Saw many of their games, some of the best and exciting teams to watch. My Aunt had season tickets and we drove over from Sinton many times. RBs Larry Collins, Don Hardeman, QB, Richard Ritchie and then Starks the human highlight.
